Yard Sale Time to gather up Old items and dirty cups Clothes with only use as rags Place them unto a bag Don't forget the ones of stain As we seek to be on the threshing floor of grain There is one to come purchase it all My prayer is that one accepts His call No need to worry of putting up signs of the sale It's all been paid for once received will live the tale Of how the One who knew your every need Brought forth the bread of heaven to feed To cast out all the things this world did instill As the living water begins to flush out and fill Storing up new treasures not bought in this earth Which is found through the heavenly mother birth In this poem to tell of the true sale Of the One who removes weeds to provide a new trail

Now that my kind of tale and yard sale. My debt has been paid. I liked the analogy, Stephan. More people will understand our message when we start us stories as Jesus did to help them find the way to truth. Thanks for your inspirational poetry, my friend. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

a truly uplifting and spiritual poem with some great symbolism...(the clothes of stain) I immediately thought of Christ's bloody clothes. Bought and paid for most certainly comes to mind. The title was perfect as well. Fabulous job. enjoy your day, Sara

Cast off all that is old and withered, remove the weeds to clear the yard for new cultivation. "As the living water begins to flush out and fill Storing up new treasures not bought in this earth Which is found through the heavenly mother birth In this poem to tell of the true sale Of the One who removes weeds to provide a new trail".... Beautiful Stephan!

Much deeper meaning to this than yard sale I feel--as I read your poem, Stephan.

I visit a yard sale once a week. Wondering where to see you someday Stephan?... :) Your poem delves into one's inner being, protruding a broader meaning of "sale" and I can feel it from within. Thank for your wonderful thoughts for FREE! :) Cliff
