X
What is unknown, to show it’s there
An 'X' is shown, so we know where.
At least if we do not know what
An ‘X’ makes sure it’s not forgot.
So when they find it written down
They’ll know that unknown it was found
And maybe they will have the wit
To find a better name for it.
But will our unknown be the same
As that to which they give a name
For if, unknown, it was arranged
Who cannot say it has not changed?
