Wrong Turns

You're bound to make some wrong turns in your life
Experience will help you recognize
It does not matter how far you have gone
Come back when it is clear the turn was wrong
For time invested in a fruitless ride
Is only wasted if it's multiplied
By compensating for the ground you've lost
In compromising that which you once sought
