Writing Helps

Writing helps me think about life, Keeping me from the wrong end of a knife, It's save my life in more was than one, Showing me why my life needs to go on, The power of words have saved so many, From people who struggle, to those without even a penny, It gives us a place to express how we feel, The emotion inside is beyond surreal. People have so many problems, from love to loss, From their sexuality to their new horrible boss, No where to go, no one to talk to, Leaving them alone to feel blue, Writing is an outlet, to say what we regret, And help us get to where we want to be...... Well atleast that's what it does for me.
