Michael, we all have been there, no writer can say different. Look around you; charactors everywhere you are. Take them, mold them into images you like. I wrote a poem about this issue.

Thinking causes the block in my opinion. I think the raw, free association style of writing is the best demonstration of emotion. I want to get into more structured poetry, but I think just freely jotting down ideas is a good start until i learn the different styles. Thank you commenting :)
