Writer's Block
Writer’s Block
Can one really have writer’s block
When it cannot be defined
Can a person really complain
When it’s only a figment of the mind
Writer’s block can be better sweet
When you run out of rhymes
It is a little easier to relax
Time for the brain to unwind
Writer’s block, does it even exist
Or is it just in the mind
Isn’t it just an excuse
Just a thought you can’t find
If you believe you have writer’s block
Look for something to inspire
A book, nature, life
Anything to spark your creative fire
Writer’s block, that infectious disease
Do not let it fester
You say you have it
And others, it will infect and pester
It is a lie
So don’t let it lock
I was able to write this poem
When I claimed to be on writer’s block
