Wounded Sigh

Dear Father who loves us from on high, I come to Thee seeking a reply, Thy grace has been in ample supply, I thank Thee for that, You've heard me cry, Yet there are unanswered prayers, why? I know I'm not perfect, no, not I, Still I come as I am, don't deny, Forgive my misgivings, dry my eye, Hear my request, on Thee I rely, You are my refuge, You rule the sky! My soul knots only You can untie, To my heart's one desire, please comply, You alone can give, I can but try, My tears have grown wings, to Thee they fly, Dear Lord, acknowledge my wounded sigh!!
{When waiting on the Lord turns us weary}

I felt your pleas and desire for the Lord's grace and forgiveness addressing the narrator's 'wounded sighs. I can identify with those pleas, for sometimes my tears have grown wings. Well done, Joanna. A fave, have a great day, Sara
