The lines in between fade away And I’m left standing in gray. I cannot, dare not, go back; Yet, I cannot find my way forward. If I give up this fight I will surely lose you from sight. I cannot, dare not, say good bye; You are the one I live for. But my blood continues to drain Leaving my fingers red-stained. I cannot, dare not, let go; But my fingers are cold, numb.
