Worrying For Naught

My worry started very early in the day; by noon my worry had festered and was well on it's way. I got down on my knees to pray; please Lord, take this worry away. By night, I realized my worry was here to stay. I laid down to sleep, with worry still on my mind; I tossed and turned all night long and awoke to a worry of a different kind. I prayed again and asked the Lord for help- Father, I asked, why haven't you aided me And your promises not kept? "Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there" is all He asked us to do. I looked back and saw my worry for all that it was - something that did not happen, as worry seldom does.
