To be a supervisor this you need to know. It’s quite easy really any elementary person can become a leader, but most important, can a leader become an elementary person? Therefore never forget one’s own roots, those foundations of an upbringing of moral substance, one of basic humanity and esteem, where right is right and wrong disciplined. Remember to manage, everyone as equal as we are all in the eyes of God! © Harry J Horsman 2012

I love the message of this one, Harry. I realized I had seen that other poem before after I responded to it, the one I just left. But I checked below to make sure on this one, and it looks like this is a new one for me. REally good one!

Yes Harry, a wise message all need to remember; we are only flesh and blood and end up the same way no matter who we are. Empathy is a gift we all have the power to give and your words set the stage. Loved it! :)

I love this piece Harry. Tell the newly promoted guy to be "color blind". Everyone deserves respect and dignity no matter what their color is. Dalila

Great advice, not only to supervisors, but snobby people too. I hate people who think they're better than me because they have a lofty position or a bigger house. who cares? your message is the right one, for everyone. we're all equal :) good luck in the didactic contest!

How true! We ARE all equal in God's eyes, but people who enjoy a lot of succcess sometimes forget the things that made them worthy of our admiration. Dane Ann will love this entry for her contest! Wishing you success, Harry. You never need to thank me for doing what was right. There's a reason I don't use my maiden name... Love, Carolyn

Good advice on being a supervisor..Always sandwich the disciplinary speaks..Start with something good about the person, speak then of what needs to change, and then speak of something good again..That way the person will walk away with their selfesteem still in place..Enjoyed reading your work this afternoon..Thanks for stopping by, reading, and commenting on my work..Sara

Many people take advantage of their position and power, forgetting who where they once were and its a pity.To be a great leader it takes courage, humbleness and dignity.. Well stated in your poem, clever message Harry.
