Work
Nothing comes close
To reward served in great dose
To privilege inherited or earned
To achieving that which was yearned
The day once dreamed
That once never seemed
Shows up in the midst of the days
When all the working and waiting pays
If visit is guaranteed a welcome
And presence becomes less burdensome
Out of steady and proven rendering
Then a name is made without clammering
It's not an easy come, it's not out of reach
Though it be a tasking practice of what you preach
None would fear neither aging nor death
If they had fulfilling works for each breath
