I saw your other flowers sprout, so bringing charm, I put down roots. but hating me, you yanked me out. You fool, I'll just bring more recruits!

Those .... weeds. Aaarrghh! Great, witty poem, Andrea. I love this Chastushka form. It shows me that Russians have a sharp sense of humor, which is never really shown to Americans. Love this poem. So funny, still laughing. Love and peace to you.

AH, so it is a conspiracy of weedy characters. I usually tell the neighbors when they ask...What! Pull them out, I just planted them.

Lovely sense of humour, Andrea! You have to learn to live with dandelions, otherwise peace won't last. Congrats on your win! // paul

Ah, the ever misunderstood dandelion! Me, I don't fully understand though why some hate it? But yup, I really enjoyed how you gave that particular voice to the dandelion, haha, its kind of sweet revenge ;)

The poem reminded me of the Rolling Stones song "Dandelion". That dates me I guess. Enjoyable work here - gardening can be fun at times. Also, did you get your poetry out to me? I will send my latest chapbook once I receive your fine work in the mail. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I love dandelions and dandelion tea. They are actually very tasty in salads and keep down bloat. Nevertheless, what a cute poem.

Dandelions are quite beautiful in their way. This is why I never disturb them. I am also a big liar and lazy. A sure win. Love, daver

What a treat your page is this morning. First a poem about Autumn, and now one on my favorite flower. I love it. You can't kill the dandelion. It is wild and free and does what it wants.
