Words From a Broken Heart

I stare aimlessly at the black sky, Counting the stars of hope, Wondering if you are doing the same. The moon hides tonight, As I walk the street, Nothing to shine or guide me. I cant feel anything but my tears, Flooding the town with my memories, Now drowning in my own misery. I feel as if I'm dieing slowly, My heart beating less and less, For there is nothing to keep it going. I hear your whispers in the wind, Wrapping around me in a blanket of sorrows, Keeping me in deep thought about you. I'm waiting impatiently, Thoughts of the day I can hold you, Keeps me running in a maze, Trying to keep myself sane. I just hope you will stay strong, For I cant do this alone, Just keep on loving me, As I keep on loving you.
