Words and Writing

Where would I be without my dictionary? Open it up to Read and then try to remember Discoveries made to use in my next Sentence. Aaah, easier said than done! Nevertheless, I persist ... dictionaryitis (not an entry) having struck without warning!! Romping (smile) Into The Z's Is an experience Not needing to often be repeated or, Gaining much more than a Yawn (from the preceding letter) when zzzzzzz's (as in nap time) are in store for me now !!

Writing is hard work and having tools like a dictionary and thesaurus can really help us make our message more clear. However, as you say in this very insightful write, researching -- or just searching -- too much can bring on the need for naptime zzzs. Most writers can really relate to this one, Sue. Great work! Love, Carolyn

Yes! The dictionary is an awesome thing. I so admire those who can retain all their queries. For damn sure I cannot. Love, daver

Hi Sue. Thank you for your comments. I truly did edit my poem and that I completely escaped me. However I did mean phrase that the other poets were seeking. I guess it would have been more correct to have inserted an a but that would throw off the meter. I will watch for your poetry. Love, joyce
