Wondering

I sit, eyes will not open, So many thoughts, The world has closed in, And now I escape it’s grasp. Longing for you, Longing for your love, Longing for the time, We will be together. A willow trees branches, Whipping in the wind, White caps on the water, Ducks are diving. A beautiful spring day, To be enjoyed by all, The children do play, Grown-ups at the mall. Life all around, Bursting with excitement, I lie on the ground, Wondering.
