When I gaze up at the stars or watch Venus outshine Mars, nothing else seems to matter, despite the background clatter. Everything dissolves, but me, reality cuts me free, followed by a sense of whole, unifying heart and soul, letting go ... God takes control. This is an Acrostic poem spelling the word “WONDERFUL”. Written Jan. 10th. For “Wonderful-Acrostic - Poetry Contest”.
