Once upon a time, I used to be you. In my misdemeanor I fell out of your love. Now you are quick to judge, but you don't know me. In your silence, you wish me away. Invoking ancient curses, praying I stray. Tiny streams of tears roll down my prematurely withered cheeks. Tattered clothes I salvage from dumpsters Days gone by since I had a meal Even longer since I saw the inside of a bathroom Am I a son of the Land? Will you show me any kind?
