Without Eyes

You speak To some secret side of me Some part I can't say Is there Sometimes I hate you What? some little thing But I always come back Even though you'll never love me Maybe it's more Who you are Than acts or words Or maybe who you Try to be Or who you Think you should Maybe it's who I think you are But maybe it's that secret side The secret part of you Your secret sacred song Your song playing somewhere deep Deeper in me Than my own ears can hear Than thought can recognize But it's you alright - You have the key to the lock On the dungeon door on the back side of my heart That room or tomb or womb in me Where feelings are born without eyes Some secret part of me Where no light Never shines And in that place Your song is the Sun
