Forest birds with lovely melodies are calling,
green lush leaves embrace my soul and I am falling.
Holding hands with father is a sweet memory,
in the D E E P depths- I love to lay in reverie.
Just me in the stillness among vines entangled,
kept prisoner until I wish to be u n t a n g l e d.
L a y down with me and I will heal your broken heart,
my spirit is here- of the forest, I am part.
Now be quiet and you can hear the forest breathing,
on the mossy ground flowers and vines are creeping.
Place your hand in mine- oh no need to be afraid,
QUIET, do not struggle just let the leaves cascade.
Roam with me along the banks of a RIPPLING stream,
sit with me under a w e e p i n g willow and dream.
TILL night is day- oh sweet visitor stay with me,
under the vines, a decaying headstone COME and see.
