Within Somebody's Head

You never know what's going on Within somebody's head. We follow clues but often So much more is left unsaid. Though body language gives off hints We never can be certain That what's presented matches with The truth behind the curtain. What's on display for folks to see Has passed an inner censor So often we are left with fluff; Reality is denser. And sometimes when facades are cracked The view might make us queasy. We therefore rarely dig too deep; The effort's never easy.
