With the Future In Mind

If we could deal with the past while it is in front of us, We would have plenty of time to discuss, How the future can be good for all of us. But alas, too often we let the past bite us from behind, Meaning being kind, May be the last thing on our mind, Putting us all in a bind, If solutions we need to find, Before a future that has been mined, Is all that we have to leave behind.

Thank You Jeanette. No what happened in the past we still have to deal with what is in front of us in real time and with living people. It is not easy but it is only way moving forward. We must work hard to let the children start with a clean slate and not poison their minds one way or another, so they can build a better future, with the past a learning experience that can help unite rather than divide. Forgiveness, compassion and kindness are key when solving problems of any sort when emotions are raw. Thank yo for taking the time to read. Regards David in NZ
