Witch's Treedom
"Light the fires, we hunt a witch tonight,
under the light of a pale blue moon
We're the masters of all that is right
Join with the righteous as we sing our tune"
The woman a healer, with ancient spells
Living in the forest, amongst the trees
With herbs and crystals the future she tells
She is so disturbed, by all that she sees
Why are so many, now coming for her
It's not her intention to do them harm
Within her mind the images all blur
All of the forest is under her charm
"There in the distance we can see her house.
Wrapped amongst the branches of all those trees.
We will approach as quiet as a mouse,
then like lions we will do what we please!"
She steps out the door to address them all.
"Do not approach if you know what is best!"
The leader laughs as he makes his own call.
"We are here to put a stake through your chest."
With a wave of her hand, the trees all dance.
Gnarled roots start grabbing up from the ground.
All those evil men didn't have a chance.
The forest filled with a horrible sound!
Within the wood you can see their hands.
As well as faces contorted and dark.
They chose not to listen to her commands.
Eternally entombed within the tree bark.
Disclaimer: No witches, mortals or tree's were harmed during the
writing of this poem. In no way does this poem demonstrate a
belief in the occult but is merely for entertainment purposes.
It does however show that not all who believe they are righteous
Are truly righteous. Many things in history have been done in
the name of God by truly depraved and ungodly people. They
convinced many people to follow in their paths.
