Wishes To Atoms
With so many full moons on his calendar
His high tide will never surrender
He’s a failed star
And must live with that scar
Neither here nor there,
Just floating hot air
There, I found all your wishes
Caught in his bearlike clutches
On their way to a wishing star
Condemned to him like Europa
Married to him with an inescapable ring of gravity
Of colliding rage and heart tearing jealousy
He winked his red eye
Neither unwanted nor unwelcome
Aroused a fury of inferno
At the Venus I weather
His Giant storm in my sphere
To suffocate the vacuum inside my fear
Light years from my universe
Souls howl like hounds to his moons
Those alien worlds that never were, but still exist
And wishes fall into a black hole to never exit
A place where humanity’s raised to Mars
And my ashes return to atoms
