Wisdom

life is what you choose to see and who you sometimes choose to be what you thought was never true I never showed myself to you I let you think that you knew but all along I was playing you shelter, food, money, a child kept you there, thought you were wise a little praise, a little time, begging for sex yes rescuing me that was the receipe that worked until you walked through the other side of blind devotion to find ashes lies and poverty. and a woman who loved you.
