Winter's Breath

Snow flakes fall softly scattered all over the ground, tiny footprints I see outside my back door; all around. They go around the trees down my long driveway, up to my front door and where the swing gently sways. Throughout my garden box in my snow covered backyard, footprints are all over the place my gnomes are standing guard. I see a small puff of air from behind one of the trees, the Fairies are out playing I sure hope they don't freeze. Evergreens are completely covered in the fresh fallen snow, Winter's breath is here again flakes fall to and fro. Copyright Cynthia Jones Jan.13/2016
