Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland We were stuck, In that winter wonderland. Flowers froze, Announcing are intimacy More delicate than a rose. The touch, The feel, Of you’re your hardworking hands. Swallowed and took over, My memory glance. Glazed over eyes, Putting me in a perpetual lust. Making my guards weaken Needing no knowledge of trust. We were stuck. In that winter wonderland. Holding on to stolen kisses Keeping warm. Putting us in forever bliss. For me it was more, For you it was less. We were stuck In that winter wonderland. Trust, No knowledge of it. When you said we were safe I believed When you said that you love me I believed But trust there was no trust. That touch That feel. White powered noses Had us stuck. In that winter wonderland. Never seeing the spring or fall. The spring of your disease And the fall of our wonderland. We were not stuck But afraid. To move, to leave Because me not knowing And you not showing. Lead me to believe That we were free. No protection needed. It was like letting a ship sail Through full of diseases. I never knew that those 3 letter words would end my life. Aids Damn I didn’t think twice. And that white, Beautiful snow we snorted Had me feeling distorted. Stuck in that winter Wonder land.
