Winter Tableau
There's a moose and some gnomes underneath the tree,
a red velvet stocking too.
And lights in the tree are twinkling bright
in colours of white and blue.
One week 'til Christmas and outside there's snow,
making everything festive and bright.
And everything seems just perfect
on this lovely Winter's night.
Winter is not my favourite season.
Never has been and never will.
But once in awhile on a night like this
the whole scene gives me a thrill.
