Winter Mist Fall
An unusual mist fall
comes every evening this winter.
A blend of warm cold rising from sky to earth,
pressed down snugly by warm ocean breezes moving in.
A strange newness on the land
in Christmas time 2015.
Time slips quickly away
lost in gray overcast clouded dreams.
Twilight dances in on the horizon
drawing down a waltz od dew and hazy fog.
'tween the night of christmas eve and day
creeping towards the nerw year.
All begins to fade
disappearing in the hours passing
awaiting the rise of the sun
filled with warmth to heat the chilling
as the time of dreams are done
but they will rise and sleep again
life clings to its promise and its hope
that may lie unseen and hidden
lest it be known
that tomorrow waits its turn.
