Winter Finally Has Arrived

Winter Finally Has Arrived By Franklin Price 1/5/2016 Winter finally has arrived There are colder days ahead The temp is in the twenties Extra covers on the bed Not as warm as Christmas In the foothills of N C In the mountains snow flakes flurry Would like a little here for me Don't want a snowy blizzard So we can't come and go Just want to have an inch or two So I can make a man of snow Born long ago in Florida Where the white stuff's out of reach In the winter or the summer Can make a sandman on the beach Moved here for the seasons And to have a little snow I'm not a northern half-back Just thought I'd let the locals know
