Winter Comfort

Coldness harbors no regret Windows frosted, calm chill set Branches iced, their sleep past due Grey skies warn, storm so true Red of cardinal, blue of jay Tea and fire, warmth I pray Water frozen in the river Run strong, so deep a shiver Green of pine, rich scent of which A faded dream, a fevered pitch Memory shall not be found Yet in the mountains, where snows abound I miss the spring, some sort of debt Still, coldness harbors no regret

i think this is a lovely little poem, with a good flow...can i offer a couple of suggestions that i think would improve it still further? firstly, it's couplet form, not prose, and it would benefit the poem to introduce some punctuation and do away with the capitals at the start of every line (they should only come after a full stop, question mark, etc) hope this is helpful advice!
