Winter Comes
Golden leaves falling gently to the ground
Making piles of leaves for children’s play
Waiting for winter to come ‘round
Chilled winds blow the leaves away
And then a white surface
On the hills and dales
Winter snow abounds
Quietness
Surrounds
Me.
