Winter Cold

My ears hold cold air And eyes that would see the wind Blows calmly down low I become like snow Winter shows its living breath Painting freezing ice Russell Sivey

A chilling poem, Russell. I love the way you have winter's "breath" painting freezing ice. Awesome! Love, Carolyn

I like how you placed yourself into the poem as the snow, a living part of winter as it were. As Elizabeth said you blend with the images. Love that last line there, "Painting freezing ice"

It's coming and the "living breath" is a great way to describe it. I see you blend with the images Russ, very creative way you have.
