Winter Blues
It is freezing outside beyond the norm
Right before me are some lights way up high
They cast a blue glow throughout their dim form
Fog is increasing gives opaque-blue sky
I stand under a pole in zero temps
Seeing the blue light emanating out
It’s so cold out that many tend to limp
Blueness of the night makes my face to pout
I persevere onward through the blue light
That encompasses the whole fog’s being
Wind slithers through the air never in sight
I have the winter blues, which I’m seeing
