Winter Acrostic

Wind and frost have come to bite our noses while Images of glistening snow sparkle in the moonlight. Nights in this valley have brought us a taste of heaven, Tranquil scenes we see while taking our evening stroll. Everyone in their houses getting ready for evening in silence, Reaching home we cuddle drinking cocoa by the fireplace enjoying winter. 09.30.2014 Judy Konos: The Lazy Contest 1st

I read your poem of the day, Brenda, and it almost made me want a cup of cocoa. But I won't need a fireplace today because it's in the 90s here in S. California! And we're on high fire alert. I did write a "Winter" poem, too. but will post it later when I need that hot chocolate and a snuggle blanket. Blessings, Darlene
