Thank you, Dave. This year we hardly had a winter; in fact we had little rain and agriculture has suffered. ~ All the best...paul

Paul, An excellent Dodoitsu here. (I like these although I've not yet done one, but I do plan to write a few of them in the future.) The imagery of this wonderful write are both palpable and crisp -- a frozen crisp!! A "Seven"!! Cheers and Best, Gary

Hi Olive_eloi...I don't really worry that much about missing a contest; the aim was to be inspired and write a poem, and that is already satisfaction for me. Thank you for reading and liking:) Hugs // paul

Ah YES! That would indeed be winter trying to kiss the heat right out of you and then wipe her mouth and beg for more! I always hate when a contest is Finí and the poet is mid-write and WORSE yet is that our new fangled devices can throw a quantum fit or toss its little gigs in the air when one is just about to post! Sigh! NEVERTHELESS, this is a winner in my book. Good one Paul!
