Winter
Winter
She glides on silver skates across the crystal water
her heart a rose frozen in time
cold and uncaring, eyes of no expression
snowflakes fall from blue lips and fly away in frenzied winds
from Indigo skies a porcelain moon
shines down on sugar roofs
as chimney smoke writhes and slithers
like a magical genie escaping into thin air
