Dear Jan, I love your description of winter's pleasures. In Florida we don't see these things, but growing up in New Jersey I just loved building snowmen and seeing the icicles. Excellent entry for the contest, dear. Winning wishes are coming your way! Love, Carolyn

Throw another log on the fireplace and cuddle up under the quilt. I agree, winter in all her beauty adds a purity and newness to the coming Spring. Nicely written Jan. Joe

Oh it is nice to think about the snow, when the weather is this muggy sticky hot rainy stuff. Where I live we get snowy weather more than warm and I do love it. I think of the song from Frozen, do you want to build a snowman? :) xox

I always think its so sad when the snowman is the only thing left standing and then there is nothing but the decorations you put on to give it character - just a kid at heart lol. Hugs as ever jan xxxx

I an fine thanks Linda and hope things are good for you :-)- got a very tough day tomorrow on a personal level but I am positive and happy. The snowman melted the carrot and coal and hat and scarf all that were left as distant memories lol. Hugs as ever Jan xxxx

I love the fact everything is covered and looks uniform and fresh and pure. Long as i don't have to drive in it am Ok lol. We had blizzards in the north of the Island in 2012 10-15 feet high and so much lifestock perished it was tragic but when we drove there spectacular scenery. Hugs as ever Jan xxx
