Winner of Anthology
Although I have not won the prize of money, The Fame will keep me close. Even if the Fame be little above all I can boast. For if the money is all one wants, there is plenty to be had. But I prefer the "Game of Fame" forever it will last.
While money goes out the door, my Fame will much endeavor. I cannot think of a better way to land on both my feet, for it is said, with patients read: "Thou shall Reap."
It not only pleases me, to know that one of my poems was selected, and even more among the 500 collected.
This to be in the Company of great poets, I take my bow and can't say how, the pleasure of this Company shall be.
