Winds of Fate

Time rushes by things come and go thoughts get scattered An ageless wind blows as leaves rustle with the hint of winter's kiss With those winds appears the harbinger of a dark and desolate place The icy chill of winter's grasp has come to live in his heart replacing the warmth that once lived in the abode Somewhere in time, he remembers the fire that once dwelt there Pulling his coat around him, he shivers as he plods into the bitter cold Yes, it's going to be a very long winter without the warmth of her presence
