Wind
Trees bend low as fierce winds blow
And leaves fly to and fro
The storm is slowly passing through
the mighty wind is howling too
When the storm is over, my mind is put at ease
The wind is now a gentle breeze
As it whispers softly to the trees
Its fury had now ceased
A feather in the air now sails
It journeys as the wind prevails
Until it makes its slow descent
Landing gently in the vale
To the meadow the wind now goes
Where daffodils and lilacs grow
And there a flutter of butterflies
Rise high in windy skies
