Wilt
The darkness
In my heart
A thousand suns
Collapsing into themselves
Eaten by black holes
Pockmarked on my soul
Emitting radiant light
From the centre
The edges falling away
Lost forever to the cosmos
Is this how we will be remembered?
Mere ashes of once inspiring beauty…
