Willow

Long flowing locks, Lap covered in moss, Is little Willow. Slender and graceful, Yet tall and strong. Is little Willow. Long ago tragedy struck, An accident most foul. A stormy night, Saw lovers part, The river was the villain. The Lovely little Willow, Did try with all her might, To keep her lovers hand in hand, But lost her lonely fight. Now Willow sits alone, Beside the once raging torrent. Remembering the stormy night, Never to be forgotten.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
