William Shakespeare

Take a spear to Shakespeare And he'd be a dear and shed tears. Because he is the head of his peers. Take a pen to Shakespeare And he'd laugh off his despair And make the pen weep to repair, To tell of his fears, And to tell of his tears To the trees and bees, Who will in turn tell it to his peers.

I must say there have been so many diverse poems shared here at PoetrySoup yesterday and this morning that I am just now being able to read. Each one is a treasure to the poet who wrote it. It is a pleasure to me to be able to read them. I am so happy yours was among the ones I have read today Kalle. Love, Carol
