Will You Believe In Me Still?

Will you believe in me still? Will you believe in me still When I have lost my will to fight? Not knowing if I have the strength to carry on. Will you believe in me still When I am gone Will you believe in me still When you can’t see my face? Or will I just be replaced? Erased from your memory That is a place I am afraid to be. Will you believe in me still when I come near the point of death And what would you say to me as I take my last breath? Or would you just hold me in your arms And pretend to be strong? I don’t want to hear your heart crying over me, But forever in your heart is where I want to be It would be ok for you to restart a new love As long as I remain in your heart as your forever love

We all want someone who will stand by us and believe in us, so there are many who can relate directly to the message your penned so eloquently, Dana. Nice work! Love, Carolyn
