Will Understand Why

Will Understand Why What I wanted to do was stay alive So that all of my poems could survive Tragedies, tornadoes and an earthquake Each day better God my poems will make. To do all of this and that, what will it take? Must make sure I do it for the Lord's sake Serve to inspire poets to start and write And believing any poem is always alright. Makes no difference how poem is written Some may sound like a purring kitten Meaning and purpose of life will unfold Even if we eventually all grow old. So write more sweet poems with meaning And towards any side never start leaning Whatever and how heavy may be our load Will be well-balanced in middle of road. With this kind of outlook can't go wrong When writing poems be sure to bring along You followed by yourself and each time I If seen in each poem people understand why. How insightful it is to understand that regardless of the troubles that come our way, remaining "well-balanced in middle of road" is the best way to keep a positive outlook. I can learn from your words, James. Bless you for sharing them. Hugs, Carolyn
