Will Be Elated

What if my poems I were to stop sending Full of humor while having a happy ending Polite, gracious and some may seem formal To me, each one will be way above normal. Off of my profound pen they keep flowing While your curiosity is growing and growing Even though many poems out I still send, Can all of my writing ever come to an end? Yes, all of my efforts will, when I do die, Do not worry though and won't have to cry; God has a happy home in heaven for me Close to His eyesight and next to His knee. God's great goals for me are always in site; Writing many poems morning, noon and night And for my very whole life God has waited And hope with my poems you will be elated.

Many poems relate to current events and things that I have just seen. Hope none of this offends you. Women with cigarettes stuck in their mouth represents one of my biggest complaints. False promises and not rewarding for a just cause and reason is another. I have to start reading more of your poems if I ever find time to being that I am all wrapped up in mine. Talking about devotion to duty. It seems like that is what my poetry writing is coming to. Jim Horn

I just now read this fine write. I guess you speak of two other beating me to it. Will return tonight to read more of your poems. Very glad to see another fine poet here that represents the best in poet's heart and passion! Carry on and keep your poetic guns loaded my friend. I try to load mine with compassion first thing every morn. Yet some days do still write some dark poetry that represents my past life back when I was so very lost..
