wild violets bloom touched by cold rain and warm sun under nude oak trees migrating northern flicker pecking at violet’s roots
Inspired by: Andrea Dietrich Contest:Tanka 2 Written: March 18, 2015 Northern Flickers are in the species of Woodpeckers but they peck in the ground. They are migratory and come through here in the spring.. A group of them is called a guttering, menorah or Peterson..
