Wife Talking In Her Sleep
Wife Talking In Her Sleep
(She actually said the first line
and I took it from there.)
Really never will care what you say
So went ahead and wrote poem anyway
That of course thought was my best
Others would not like and did detest.
Now no matter what you may suggest
My case is closed and I stand at rest
What I should have done was to avoid
Writing anything making you annoyed.
Certain subject heard about as of late
Never write poems about people's weight
Or regarding a particular political matter
Might make them become a mad hatter.
Of time what you hate hearing the most
Is someone continuing to brag and boast
About perfect poems only written by them
That to many of us might be morbid or grim.
I never had wanted to make a big mess
But have written all of my poems regardless
Even if by delicate you they are all dreaded
By God into my mind each one was imbedded.
