“In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.” Rumi "Whypt Syllabubs" ROMANCE

Reading: For my daughter, Georgia and anyone else who is interested in learning more about Love and Lust. My favourite man, so far, in the reading realm, D.H. Lawrence, "Lady Chaterley's Lover", EBOOK for your pleasure and further education (should you not have had the privilege to read this fine story). My first read at 19 years of age - ah, the adventures it led me on! Discovered in a packed bookshelf, floor to ceiling, wall to wall, in the arms of a home much loved and lead by a quiet, solitary man, in the sweltering hot Summer of a bucolic small rural town in Queensland, Australia. This lack lustre poem is mine, but the story link to E-BOOK here is his and although his dreams were with her in heaven, he reached out to D.H. Lawrence, this was the sign of a true romantic and obviously blood runs through the genes; now that would be an interesting conversation over dinner, should there end up to be a Heaven and I eventually meet him, the other or both, for discourse. Well, I warned you Labyrinth, you should have heeded your friend Nietsche, "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee....". The game is afoot, or a leg, or you know....kindest regards as always, Lilith.

Wow! Leanne I LOVE this romantic romp fest! A mingling festival of erotic delights for the senses, tingling with stunning poetic lines and superb imagery; 'hold tight onto the mane no need to hold the reins' - Oh, you go girl!! Strong, sexy and exquisite imagery - as is every lush line in your lusciously passionate poem. Your poetic artistry amazes me and your poem is a fave for me! Warmest wishes. ~Susan

“This is what I believe: That I am I. That my soul is a dark forest. That my known self will never be more than a little clearing in the forest. That gods, strange gods, come forth from the forest into the clearing of my known self, and then go back. That I must have the courage to let them come and go. That I will never let mankind put anything over me, but that I will try always to recognize and submit to the gods in me and the gods in other men and women. There is my creed.” D.H. Lawrence

I just think I'm a writer...honestly Maria, I can get carried away sometimes - perhaps getting carried away is a saving grace sometimes with all the doom and gloom in the news and hardships that cross people's paths. Thank you for the generous compliment and thank you for your friendship. x
