Why Would Anyone

Why would anyone cause death to God's Son? Put Him on cross until all of His life is done Allow much suffering for Him to go through To save us from many sins we often do. Have had lined with thorns and briers Until He and His body finally expires With much pity on us he looked down While blood spewed from an ugly crown. Could hear kind words in God's voice Son's in heaven so you should rejoice Sing out and say hallelujah everywhere Jesus relieved us from sin and despair. Why for material things must we pay a price When God's son for all things should suffice Sunday morning when in church we are there God's Son should be sure to love and share.
